I'll be honest, I do A LOT with "casual tops" because I am a busy mom to twin boys and I want my clothes to be wash and wear. BUT, I really love for my casual tops to have fun details so they don't just feel like a T-shirt. These two tops from the Summer Capsule hit that mark and I am wearing them on repeat!
Up-Leveled Tops
I am really loving the shirt vest trend this summer. It's a throwback to be sure, but there are so many fun ways to wear them for both work and play! And this striped blouse is a fan favorite. It can be dressed up for work or date night, but also dressed down with some cut offs and cute sandals.
Casual Bottoms
Summer time means shorts! Which can be a tricky thing for women to find. These cut offs give me enough coverage that I feel confident but not so much that I feel frumpy. And these smoothing chinos are what every woman wants for their midsection! Casual daytime outfit galore with these two....and sometimes I even wear my cutoffs out at night with heels ;)
Up-Leveled Bottoms
Enter the parachute pant. They hit the streets late Spring and are sticking around through Fall and Winter this year. While the model here is wearing sneakers, I have loved dressing them up for work and date night. And these cropped wide leg pants DESERVE a spot in your closet. They pull on, smooth you out, are incredibly comfortable, and provide the ultimate versatility!
Shoes
Shoes are an item I typically splurge on because comfort is KEY for me. I love a good Summer wedge and who doesn't need a great pair of Birks in the rotation. You can envision how nicely they go with the tops and bottoms above.
Accessories
When it comes to accessories, I am a bit of a minimalist. I have some favorites and some items I keep for special occasions, but generally speaking, I want them to be able to withstand a beating and still look good!
