Bring on the FEAST!!!
I thought I would share a simple schedule with you that I have been using for the last 5 years or so. It has helped me indulge in a way that doesn't leave me feeling like I have a food hangover post holiday....because I need energy to get up and shop the next day ;) Ha!
All jokes aside, this has helped a ton and it's something I use throughout the holiday season.
One thing I talk a lot about in the seasonal program I teach is the idea of protein pacing and it makes such a difference on days like Thanksgiving. The idea is to get a decent amount of clean protein in your body throughout the day. Then you won't find yourself eating the WHOLE charcuterie board before the big meal. So, I make sure my breakfast and pre-game snack before the festivities are packed with protein (25-30g each). I use a protein shake for this because it's easiest.
