Casual Tops

I'll be honest, I do A LOT with "casual tops" because I am a busy mom to twin boys who works in a busy middle school 2.5 days a week and I want my clothes to be wash and wear.  I like to call them T-shirts with a twist!  Or Ts that look and function like a blouse ;) These two tops from the Fall Capsule hit that mark and I am wearing them on repeat!

Up-Leveled Tops

I also like to have tops in my closet that help me feel more dressed up.  So, I am always looking for fun details like a ruffle sleeve or an interesting neckline.  Fun fact, this asymmetrical sweater top has been in my closet for the past 3 years in Navy.  I love it and wear it so much, I decided I needed another color.  I have a rule not to buy multiples of the same item, but this sweater is so good, I broke it!

Bottoms

In the Fall, I love bottoms that can be worn with sneakers, boots, wedges, and heels because the weather is always changing! It's the very definition of a transitional season.  So, having some black denim and some army green "cargo" pants in the rotation is key for me.  They both dress up and down so easily and can be worn with just about every color which makes them a staple for a true capsule wardrobe.

One-Pieces/Sets

I love a one and done item in my closet but I will be completely honest here and tell you I don't wear dresses very often.  Maybe it's because I am a boy mom or that I am constantly on the move at school, I just naturally gravitate towards pants! This jumpsuit is so dynamite and I love the "set" trend as well because it requires zero thinking.  Plus, the set can be broken up and worn as separates! Winning!

Shoes

Shoes are an item I typically splurge on because comfort is KEY for me.  I've warmed up to the loafer trend this year largely because the look has gotten a little more sleek looking.  Make it a mule and I am IN for the Fall season.  And a platform sneaker is a MUST in my opinion.  Give me an extra inch for longer legs with ALL the comfort!

Accesories

When it comes to accessories, I am a bit of a minimalist.  I have some favorites and some items I keep for special occasions, but generally speaking, I want them to be able to withstand a beating and still look good! The jewelry I selected for the Fall Capsule fits the bill.  Simple hoops with a eye catching design and stackable bracelets for the win!
